Capital IQ’s screening tool allows you to generate a list of companies by selecting a range of criteria such as a particular country and industry.
- Under the ‘Screening & Analytics’ tab, click on ‘Companies’.
- Click on ‘Geographic Locations’. Locate the country you’re interested in by clicking on the + symbols or by entering a keyword in the search box. Tick the box next to the relevant country (you can select multiple boxes) and click on ‘Add Criteria’.
- Click on ‘Industry Classifications’. Locate the industry you’re looking for in the same way you found the country and click on ‘Add Criteria’.
- Once you have added all of your criteria, click on ‘View Results’. Click on the name of a company to see its complete profile.
