Generating company peer reports on FAME – CJBS Information and Library Services Blog

FAME allows you to compare a company’s financial performance against a set of other companies.

To generate a company peer report:

Search using ‘Company name’ and highlight the relevant company. Click on the right arrow to select it and click on the ‘OK’ button.
From the top row of tabs, select the ‘Peer Report’ tab. Financials for the company and its peers will appear.
You can reorganise the data by categories such as turnover, number of employees and solvency ratio. You can also select the year and how many companies you want to include in the peer report.
The data can be exported to Excel, and you can also create graphs and pie charts which can be exported to Word.
