How do I renew my books?

You can renew the books you have borrowed online via the library catalogue (LibrarySearch):

1. Visit the library catalogue and click on the ‘My library account’ link.

2. Enter the barcode number (e.g. VP123) from the back of your University card and your surname.

4. A list of the books you have on loan will appear. Click on the books you want to renew.

5. Check that the books have been renewed and make a note of the new due date.

This information is also available as a video tutorial.

N.B. You will not be able to renew a book if it is already overdue or if it has been requested by another student. Fines for overdue items are 50p per day (standard loan books) and 50p per hour (short loan books).
