Virtual Study Room

Missing studying in a library environment or side by side with your classmates? Finding it hard not to procrastinate at home and looking for a space to concentrate and get work done?

Then this is for you.

CJBS students can now join us in our Study Room. We’ll be online for 2 hours a day and a member of the library team will be on hand to answer quick questions or help you get support for more in-depth enquiries – just like the enquiry desk in the physical library!

(We know, we’ve almost forgotten what that’s like too)

Come and work alone together in the CJBS I&LS Study Room

You don’t have to have a question to be there, just have the room on in the background and work alone together with your classmates to encourage you to get stuck into that essay you’ve been putting off or read that article that you keep putting down in favour of the Netflix button.

Want to study as a group or talk to a classmate about an assignment? No problem, just ask the librarian on duty and we’ll create a breakout room just for you. We’ll even encourage you to step away from studying for a moment and join us in a coffee break-out room for a few minutes an hour into each session.

Interested? See the full schedule and the details of how to join the room in the learn.jbs platform >

Not studying at the School? Sorry, we can’t make the Room available to you, but we hope some of the tips we’ve put together for working from home and setting up your home study space will help.
